Objective:

COURSE OBJECTIVES

The course will enable the students to-

Develop creative skills while manipulating the space, form, texture and other elements
Balance principles of composition in a mature way
Explore more new techniques to enhance the composition
Progress toward developing a person style
Learn to aware the society through thoughts depicted in the compositions

The Students Will –

CO78: Execute the learnt and explored creative skill in to compositions

CO79: Evaluate the need of manipulating the elements & principles of painting in a composition

CO80: Assess the art of simplifications, complications of form, handling of colours and other essential elements in a composition

CO81: Execute variety of methods of creating composition: exaggeration, subtraction, molding, reducing, overlapping to make the composition more interesting

CO82: Demonstrate the society, environment, art and culture in composition

Approach in teaching:

Interactive Lectures, Discussion, Tutorials, Reading assignments, Demonstration

Learning activities for the students:

Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, presentation, Giving tasks.

Semester end examination, Continuous Assessment Test, Sketching, layouts, Solving problems in tutorials, Assignments, Presentation, Individual and group projects, regular, display and submission of artworks.

COURSE CONTENT:

The student will compose a creative composition in his own style choosing any medium

Submission: 8 works,Canvas Size- 3’x 4’ (minimum)
