Objective: 

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

This course will enable the students to-

  1. Understand the role of light and its importance in photography
  2. Explain the importance of various accessories used along with the camera
  3. Explain how photography evolved over the period of time in India
  4. Identify, explain and use various post processing techniques to enhance the captured image

  • An understanding of light and its properties
  • Exploring exposure- underexposure, overexposure
  • Dramatic lighting

  • The importance of accessories like external flash units, reflective media, corrective and creative filters and camera supports like tripods
  • A study of various lens options and there use for specific applications
  • Special effects in photography.
  • In depth knowledge of depth of field-its relative factors and applications

  • Elements for designing a picture- pattern, framing, selecting viewpoint, distance, foreground and background
  • Familiarity with common errors and way to avoid or correct them

  • Post Processing: Correct icing Images, Lens Correction, Cropping, Levels, Color Enhancing, Split Toning, HSL, Dehazing
