Designed exclusively for students of BFA and MFA Applied Arts, this fun-filled challenge tested participants’ creativity, knowledge, and quick thinking in the dynamic advertising world.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from six teams: Auburn, Azure, Ochre, Crimson, Indigo, and Opal. The activity featured five diverse rounds, each focusing on a distinct aspect of advertising. These rounds included Dumb Charades, where participants enacted brands and their widely known advertisement campaigns for their teammates to guess; Logo Recognition, which tested the teams’ ability to identify famous logos; and the Tagline Quiz, where students showcased their knowledge of iconic taglines. The Jingle Challenge added a fun musical element as teams guessed advertising jingles, and the final Advertising Crossword required sharp problem-solving skills to complete puzzles with clues from the advertising world.

The competition was lively and creative, with each team bringing their unique flair to the challenges. Laughter, brainstorming, and moments of suspense kept the audience engaged, making the event an exhilarating experience for participants and audience alike. Faculty members and peers cheered as the teams demonstrated their advertising knowledge, creating a positive and collaborative atmosphere.

After a series of intense and closely contested rounds, Team Auburn was the winner. Their outstanding performance, particularly in the Dumb Charades challenge, showcased their exceptional teamwork and creative thinking. The win was well-deserved, and their ability to captivate the audience highlighted their strong understanding of advertising concepts.

The event concluded with a brief prize distribution ceremony, where Team Auburn was celebrated for their achievement. All participants were lauded for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship, and the faculty commended their efforts in making the activity a success.

“Guess the Buzz” served as a platform for students to apply their learning in an enjoyable and interactive manner, fostering teamwork and creativity. The event left a lasting impression, inspiring students to explore innovative ideas in the field of advertising and eagerly anticipate similar events in the future.
